- Each individual leather article of this tipe has been manufactured by craftsmen so as to bring out the natural characteristics of the leather such as veining, the play between light and dark, the irregular grain, and its reaction to water and scratching.
- These characteristics, especiallly marbling, are not flaws but basic qualities of the leather. Natural color leather (cuoio) receives no coloring or protection. The sun makes it tan, the water can leave marks, and over time it takes on a beautiful look.
